Fast food restaurant franchise Subway has unveiled a novel drone delivery service for its Footlong products in select cities across the US. 

The company is launching the drone delivery programme to mark the upcoming World UFO Day on 24 June 2024.

The new initiative will run across Atlanta, Dallas, Denver and Orlando.  

It will also reward the brand’s most active MVP [most valuable person] Rewards members with special drone deliveries.  

Drone delivery is subject to changes in weather or other atmospheric conditions.

Subway’s Ultimate Footlong offering includes a variety of options such as Footlong Dippers, Footlong Cookies and the classic Footlong Sub.  

The Footlong Dippers, which are part of the Sidekicks menu, feature cheese and meat rolled in lavash-style bread. 

It comes in three varieties: Pepperoni & Cheese, Chicken & Cheese and Double Cheese.  

Each order is served with one of Subway’s 11 signature sauces, creating 33 possible flavour combinations.  

Footlong Dippers are now available for $3, and the prices and participation may vary. 

The new range of Footlong Dippers was introduced in mid-June 2024, joining Subway’s other offerings such as Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel, the Footlong Cookie, and the Cinnabon Footlong Churro.
