Florida-based bagel brand Brooklyn Water Bagel has expanded its presence in Port St. Lucie with the opening of two new outlets.

The company has launched one corporate location and a franchised restaurant owned by Dean Tendrich, a prominent TV personality and entrepreneur in the region.

The openings mark a step in the brand’s growth strategy, offering New York-style bagels to more customers in Florida.

The new establishments are situated at 1319 St Lucie West Blvd and 10350 SW Village Center Drive, within the Tradition Shopping Centre near Publix.

Brooklyn Water Bagel is renowned for its “All About The Water” philosophy, which involves a proprietary water filtration and purification process that emulates the mineral content of New York’s water, considered ideal for bagel baking.

This process ensures that regardless of the location, customers enjoy a consistent and authentic bagel experience, with the perfect balance of a crunchy exterior and a chewy interior.

Tendrich stated: “Bringing Brooklyn Water Bagel to Port St Lucie means a lot to me. It’s not just about the bagels and coffee – it’s about sharing something special with the community I’ve called home for many years.

The St. Lucie West Blvd opening is the first in a larger ten-unit deal.

Brooklyn Water Bagel’s menu is known for its savoury breakfast options, including the popular Brooklyn sandwich, which features bacon, sausage, ham, egg and cheese.

The lunch menu offers deli classics such as the Reuben, made with corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut.

The brand menu features in-house roasted coffee and Cubsta Iced Coffee with house-made coffee cubes.
