Fast casual restaurant Hawaiian Bros Island Grill has announced a partnership with Lunchbox, an enterprise restaurant platform, to expand its catering business.

This collaboration provides Hawaiian Bros with a technology solution designed to scale, maintain brand consistency, and increase profitability.

The Lunchbox Catering, Order Aggregation, and Delivery Dispatch systems have been implemented across all corporate-owned Hawaiian Bros locations, with plans to extend these services to franchised outlets.

Hawaiian Bros operations senior vice-president Chris Habiger said: “Lunchbox lives and breathes the catering business. We needed a partner that could help us grow catering revenue and support a consistent brand experience at scale. That’s exactly what this partnership delivers.”

With more than 60 restaurants in nine states, Hawaiian Bros began offering franchising opportunities in 2023.

The partnership with Lunchbox also includes the integration of a Marketing CRM suite, which Hawaiian Bros will utilise to foster guest engagement and encourage repeat business through personalised marketing campaigns.

Lunchbox CEO James Walker said: “Hawaiian Bros embodies the spirit of innovation and hospitality. Their dedication to delivering exceptional experiences aligns perfectly with our mission to provide cutting-edge solutions for enterprise brands.”

Lunchbox’s catering platform boasts a range of features that are expected to benefit Hawaiian Bros significantly.

These include comprehensive reporting tools for tracking sales, unpaid invoices, and performance metrics at each location.

The system is designed for integration with existing POS systems, allowing for real-time order synchronisation.

Additionally, advanced CRM tools will enable Hawaiian Bros to target marketing efforts and retain customers effectively.

The platform also offers flexible ordering options and order management features that cater to the specific needs of Hawaiian Bros’ operations.

Last month, Hawaiian Bros expanded its brand presence with the opening of its first island-inspired franchise location in Waukee, Iowa.
