
Tyme Commerce has developed the Tyme TakeTech solution to simplify takeaway collection experiences.
Under the new system, customers place takeaway collection orders from select restaurants using the Tyme app. The restaurant then prepares the food and beverages and places them in Tyme Commerce’s insulated modular lockers. When customers arrive, they use the Tyme app to unlock the locker and receive their order.
Tyme Commerce is planning to roll out the Tyme TakeTech solution in early 2019.
The company’s CEO Bobby Marhamat said: “Tyme TakeTech will revolutionise the restaurant takeout experience by eliminating the time wasted in placing and waiting for a takeout order.
“Customers who experience how fast and easy Tyme TakeTech is will put that restaurant at the top of their list for favourite food pickup places.”
Each locker is insulated to maintain the temperature of the food until customer pickup.
Participating restaurants will have access to a customer’s name and the number of times they have ordered, allowing the restaurant staff to greet them as they arrive and offer loyalty perks.
Restaurants can also use the system’s analytics data to customise their menus.
