White Castle has added Impossible Foods’ plant-based burger to its menu at three locations in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Called the White Castle Impossible Slider, the vegetarian burger is made from cheese, pickles and onions.
The new menu item will be available in White Castle’s Strip, Downtown, and Jean stores.
Impossible Foods first introduced the burger to three US locations in April 2018. This was later released to 13 states across the country in September 2018.
Impossible Foods chief operating officer and chief financial officer David Lee said: “White Castle is Impossible Foods’ largest customer so far and the partnership has been a total sensation, acclaimed by food critics and a social media phenomenon with a trending hashtag.
“There was never any doubt White Castle would get first priority for the national rollout of our new recipe.”
