US culinary on-demand start-up Kitchen United has entered lease agreements for the opening of two kitchen centres.
This move is part of the company’s national expansion plan aimed at supporting consumer-driven shift toward off-premise food consumption.
The company is planning to open the two kitchen centres in Columbus, Ohio, and Atlanta, Georgia, in the first quarter of this year.
The Columbus kitchen centre will be located at 1471-1481 West Goodale Boulevard in Grandview Heights to offer easy access and drive times to customers and third-party delivery executives.
Located in the West Midtown, the Atlanta kitchen centre will be established in a newly redeveloped office.
Kitchen United CEO Jim Collins said: “Our goal at Kitchen United is to help restaurants effectively and efficiently capitalise on growing consumer demand and increase revenue either by entering a new market or neighbourhood in a cost-effective way or by easing the operational challenge created by consumers who want to be anywhere but inside the restaurant.
