Fast food chain German Doner Kebab (GDK) has signed an agreement with Ajlan Company to act as its master franchisee in Saudi Arabia.
The deal marks the fast food chain’s entry into the country and will help expand its presence in the Middle East.
GDK expects to open 100 locations over the next ten years with the first store planned to open in Riyadh by this August.

Scottish headquartered German Doner Kebab is part of the Hero Brands fast-food portfolio. The gourmet doner kebab chain currently operates 19 stores across the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman.
It also operates stores in the UK and Sweden and opened its first Glasgow restaurant on 11 March.
