Good Earth Coffeehouse along with its partners Compass Group Canada and Groupe Compass Québec has opened its first café in Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) in Montreal.
The new location, Café Good Earth, marks the coffee chain’s entry into Quebec and is the 51st location in the country. The café is located inside CHUM at 1115, rue Sanguinet, on St. Denis Street in Montreal.
Groupe Compass Québec executive vice-president Stéphane Beauchemin said: “Compass Group Canada and Groupe Compass Québec are pleased to open a Café Good Earth in CHUM.
“We have enjoyed a mutually beneficial partnership with Good Earth and know our hospital clientele will fall in love with what Good Earth has to offer.”
Good Earth CoffeeHouse COO and president Gerry Docherty said: “Good Earth is excited to enter into the Quebec market with our partners Compass Group Canada and Groupe Compass Quebec. We look forward to sharing a cup of ‘good’ with hospital staff, patients, visitors and neighbours.”
In addition, Good Earth will host an opening party on 4 September to celebrate the CHUM location. It will offer free brewed coffee all day, live music, and food and beverage samples.

In May this year, Good Earth opened its 24th café at the Verve condominiums in Calgary, Alberta.
