American restaurant franchising company FAT Brands has expanded its presence in the US by opening its first Fatburger location in New Mexico.
The new restaurant is located at 11000 Broadway Blvd Southeast, in Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. It currently offers a range of menu choices, including burgers to the casino’s guests.
FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn said: “We are excited to expand our footprint into New Mexico at Isleta Resort & Casino. This restaurant will bring fresh burgers, hand-scooped milkshakes and the famous Impossible Burger to brand fans alike in a new, growing market for FAT Brands.”
Last week, FAT Brands opened a new Fatburger location at 12-2047 Sumas Way in Abbotsford, British Columbia expanding the restaurant portfolio to 21 in Canada.
The Sumas location now offers a range of made-to-order burgers and other items to Canadian customers.
Commenting on the expansion, Wiederhorn said: “With the addition of our new Sumas location, we are thrilled to continue sharing our iconic, made-to-order burgers, fries and shakes with our ever-growing Canadian fans.

Earlier this month, FAT Brands partnered with Crescent Star Foods to open five co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express concepts in Pakistan.
The deal will increase the company’s co-branded restaurant locations to six in the country.
The company offers a wide range of burgers featuring add-ons such as bacon, onion rings, cheese and eggs at these new locations. It also offers boneless and bone-in chicken wings with more than 13 different sauces.
In July, the restaurant franchising company partnered with Dallas-based Croft Ventures to develop 25 Fatburger concepts across Texas.
