Louisiana Apple, which is operating as Wisconsin Apple, has acquired 29 restaurants in Wisconsin, US, from casual dining brand Applebee’s.
With the latest move, the company has expanded its franchisee portfolio. It now operates 47 Applebee’s restaurants across the Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Wisconsin states.
Louisiana Apple president Seenu Kasturi said: “Our team has a passion for developing amazing talent and operating successful restaurants with a focus on the guest experience, and we are thrilled to expand our passion into Wisconsin.
“We believe in the Applebee’s brand and in being a good neighbour who makes a positive impact in each of our local communities.”
During the transition, the existing team members were offered the opportunity to be retained.
The companies have not disclosed the financial details of the acquisition.

In July last year, Louisiana Apple purchased 18 Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kentucky-area Applebee’s restaurants from Apple Gold Group.
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar serves as America’s kitchen table.
As of 30 September 2019, the brand has 1,804 franchise and company-owned restaurants in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and 13 other countries.
It is franchised by subsidiaries of full-service restaurant company Dine Brands Global.
