Erbert & Gerbert’s has expanded its menu across US restaurants with two limited-time offer sandwiches, the plant-based Roasted Red Pepper Banh Mi and the BBQ Brisket Asian Fusion.
Roasted Red Pepper Banh Mi features savoury sweet roasted red peppers covered with cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and barbecue sauce with cilantro-mint aioli made from Hellmann’s mayonnaise.
The BBQ Brisket Asian Fusion sandwich features all natural hickory-smoked beef brisket smothered in barbecue sauce, cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes and lettuce with cilantro-mint aioli made from Hellmann’s mayonnaise.
The limited time offer sandwiches will be available from 3 February.
Erbert & Gerbert’s stated that these sandwiches are intended to attract customers looking for flavourful options.
The franchise further added that it is offering the Roasted Red Pepper Banh Mi sandwich as a meat alternative to its consumers.

Erbert & Gerbert’s marketing and brand development director Jeremy Burke said: “It’s vital for the brand to keep a pulse on emerging trends. The sprouting plant-based culture is one of those, and it’s clear it goes far beyond vegetarian or vegan.
“People are adding more plants to their diets for health reasons and it’s making them feel better about what they’re eating and about their lives.
“It’s important they be able to find that along with the craveable sandwiches we’re known for at Erbert & Gerbert’s.”
The US-based restaurant franchise will also be celebrating a $4 sandwich day in-store across its locations on 29 January through a reward available on its mobile application.
