Domino’s has introduced a new Pie Pass technology to streamline pizza pick-ups for takeaway customers.
The technology will allow customers that order online to skip the usual queue to collect their order.
After the order is placed, customers can check-in on the Domino’s Tracker or order confirmation page when they reach the store for their pizza pick-up. It will alert store staff to ensure that the order is ready for pick-up.
The service is only available for customers who order online through the website or app.
Domino’s senior vice-president and chief innovation officer Dennis Maloney said: “We know that carryout customers value speed and simplicity, and that is exactly what they’ll receive with Pie Pass.
“Gone are the days of waiting for your carryout order. Now when customers arrive at the store, they’ll be greeted by name on our digital signage and handed their order.
