Among other initiatives, Waitr is working with restaurant partners to provide free delivery and marketing programmes. In addition, the company said it will continue to pay any employee that contracts the virus and / or is in quarantine.
The coronavirus death toll has increased to more than 7,100, while the total number of confirmed cases has reached 182,000.
