Global quick service restaurant (QSR) chain Wendy’s has reintroduced its Summer Strawberry Salad at selected restaurants across the US.
The salad is available for a limited period and can be purchased online or through Wendy’s mobile app.
The relaunch has been carried out in response to high demand from customers for the salad, which is prepared freshly every day.
Summer Strawberry Salad features a variety of ingredients, including sun-ripened, hand-picked strawberries, grilled chicken, crisp Applewood smoked bacon and a savoury Tuscan cheese blend.
The salad has been drizzled with a sweet and tangy Champagne Vinaigrette.
All these ingredients are placed atop Wendy’s fresh spring mix lettuce blend, providing a sweet and savoury flavour.

By GlobalDataIn a statement, Wendy’s said: “As the only hamburger QSR to offer craft salads, Wendy’s is intentional about capturing and delivering the freshest flavours of the season.
“The Summer Strawberry Salad is a fan-favourite for the summertime – packed full of high-quality, flavourful ingredients and craveable flavours.
“It pairs excellently with Wendy’s Strawberry Frosty – because we couldn’t help but give customers not one, but two strawberry-packed menu items to enjoy all season long.”
Wendy’s was established in 1969 and offers made-to-order square hamburgers with fresh beef. The restaurant also serves freshly-prepared salads, chilli, baked potatoes and other items.
Last month, Wendy’s announced a collaboration with hyperlogistics firm Pipedream to test its underground autonomous robot system for mobile orders under a pilot programme.
As part of the pilot, both firms expect to deliver digital food orders from the kitchen to selected parking spots.
