US-based cafe chain The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has bolstered its presence in Phoenix, Arizona, by launching its new outlet in Scottsdale.

The newly launched coffee shop is located at 9380 N. 90th Street and features a drive-through, a new design and indoor seating.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand Americas and India president Sanjiv Razdan said: “This is the third The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location that we’ve opened in Scottsdale, which underscores our commitment to future growth in the area.

“We are excited to share our iconic high-quality coffee and teas from around the world with more people in the community.”

The café also provides its customers with a range of simple options for beverages and meals.

Like all other locations, the new coffeehouse also offers customers a selection of Arabica coffee grades.

Filipino-based fast-food restaurant company Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), the parent company of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand, said it considers new store openings an important growth initiative.

In November 2022, JFC and its Hong Kong partner Jasmine Asset Holdings terminated their master franchise agreement with Dunkin’ Donuts Franchising, which would have expanded the Dunkin’ coffee venture into China. This was due to difficulties in expanding its footprint in the region.

The initial agreement commenced in 2015 and covered various territories in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.

Though it aimed to open more than 1,400 outlets across China in two decades, the partnership resulted in only seven outlets opening in Beijing over the past seven years.
