UK-based restaurant and pub operator The Restaurant Group (TRG) has announced that its chief financial officer (CFO) Kirk Davis will be stepping down from his role in September 2023.
Davis, who has been associated with the company for more than five years, will relinquish his role after presenting its interim results.
However, The Restaurant Group stated that Davis will conduct the analyst presentation and investor roadshow in September and remain available to the company until 31 October.
The company has named Mark Chambers as its new CFO.
He is currently the CEO of TRG’s Leisure & Concessions.
Chambers will take on the role of CFO Designate from 1 July 2023 and will formally take over as the group’s CFO on 15 September 2023.

The Restaurant Group CEO Andy Hornby said: “These management changes are the result of carefully managed succession planning.
“I would particularly like to thank Kirk for his huge efforts over the past five years. TRG is a very different business from when he joined in 2018.
“He was instrumental both in the acquisition and successful integration of Wagamama and in supporting the business as it successfully navigated the Covid-19 pandemic. We wish him all the very best for the future.”
TRG has also named Jonathan Knight as the new CEO of Leisure and Concessions. He will assume the new role on 1 July 2023 and will be reporting directly to Andy Hornby.
