US-based seafood restaurant chain Pacific Catch is set to open its third Southern California restaurant in Santa Monica.

The new venue will join the company’s existing Southern California outlets in San Diego and Orange County.

Pacific Catch’s Santa Monica location is said to be the first of several planned sites in the region.

With a capacity to accommodate more than 200 guests, the new 5600ft² location will feature a northwest-facing patio, an open-air dining room and a wine and cocktail bar.

Pacific Catch Santa Monica will be offering guests its signature dishes and tropical drinks such as ceviche, poke, sushi, tacos, burgers, bowls and Fresh Catch plates.

The beverage line-up includes tiki cocktail essence and a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks.

In order to support its growth plans, the company intends to expand its executive team with the addition of a new Pacific Catch operations vice-president.

The new appointee will be tasked with overseeing the operations of 14 restaurants and supporting the company’s COO and president Tom Hanson in rolling out new locations.

Pacific Catch claims that all its restaurants will offer 100% compostable take-out packaging as part of its commitment to the Ocean Friendly Restaurant programme.

It added that the initiative will allow diners to enjoy its sustainably sourced fish and seafood while supporting efforts to maintain environmentally responsible food sources.

In a statement, the restaurant company said: “Reinforcing the brand’s commitment to expanding its customer base in Southern California, two further locations have recently been secured at the destination lifestyle centres in north and south Orange County.”
