Mexican street food restaurant El Grito has expanded its footprint in Ireland by opening a new restaurant in Rathmines, a suburb of Dublin.
According to a report by Hospitality Ireland, El Grito serves a variety of street food that originates from Guanajuato, Mexico.
The restaurant offers tacos, starting at €2.50 ($2.70); burrito wraps starting at €9.99 and other Mexican options, such as Nachos, Gringa, Chimichanga and Alambre.
El Grito also has a range of beverages on its menu, including beer, wine and cocktails.
In addition, the drinks menu comprises a “Super Mexican cocktail,” which is a combination of energy drinks, red wine, beer and grenadine.
El Grito owner Tomas Olesky told Hospitality Ireland: “Our food is really handmade. All the recipes and everything we do in the restaurant are a collaboration of my wife and her mum. All the recipes are homemade, along with the food.”

By GlobalDataHospitality Ireland noted that the first El Grito original restaurant opened in Mountjoy Square in Dublin in 2014.
Moving forward, Olesky confirmed that they plan to open other new restaurants in Dublin.
The restaurant operator also plans to launch its salsa sauce at some local retail stores in Ireland.
Olesky added: “At the moment, I am in negotiations to open another place in the city centre. Hopefully, this week, we will sign a new contract and within a few weeks, we are going to open another place.
“We also plan another venture in Rathmines apart from the restaurant, but it’s still going to be something very Mexican.”
