US-based sandwich franchise Pickleman’s Gourmet Café (Pickleman’s) has expanded its menu with five new white cheddar Mac and Cheese bowls.
The new additions are: Mac and Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork, Spicy Pork, Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch and Chipotle Chicken.
The restaurant chain said that its new additions will complement its artisan-made toasted sandwiches, pizzas with tavern-style crust and salads.
The Mac and Cheese bowls are now available at all its locations.
The restaurant brand claims that its Mac and Cheese features real butter, cream and white cheddar cheese. It also said it is free from toxic hydrogenated oils, inflammatory soybean oil and harmful preservatives.
It added that its Mac and Cheese bowls’ toppings feature No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) chicken or pulled pork.

By GlobalDataPickleman’s Gourmet Café founder and CEO Doug Stritzel said: “Mac and Cheese is a classic American comfort food.
“Our spin on this dish is a clean label product that gives another option to showcase some of our popular and unique flavour profiles. The warm, hearty entree packs a clean protein punch in an ideal portion size.”
“In testing, customers love the new menu items and I believe the franchisees will find that execution and assembly is an efficient streamlined process that adds to their topline sales potential.”
Pickleman’s added NAE pulled pork to its menu in July this year.
The NAE pulled pork is used in six new menu items, including three sandwiches and the Pickled Cuban Pizza.
