Us-based fast casual restaurant chain Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has signed a 20-restaurant agreement with restaurant operator Mark Justice to expand the brand’s presence in Nevada.
As per the agreement, Mark Justice will bring Fuzzy’s Taco Shop to Las Vegas and other locations in Nevada over the next seven years.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop president Paul Damico said: “Mark is a highly qualified and experienced restaurant operator and we are pleased to welcome him to the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop family.
“His experience with successfully operating and scaling restaurant brands is exactly what we are looking for in a franchisee and we know he will maintain the integrity of the brand and Fuzzy’s culture.”
Justice already owns and operates IHOP restaurants across eight US states through the restaurant management company Mr Stax.
With this latest deal, Justice has become the first IHOP franchisee to enter an agreement with Fuzzy’s Taco Shop after its acquisition by Dine Brands in 2022 for a cash consideration of $80m.
