Cheese was found to be the most-used ingredient in QSR establishments, featuring in 29% of menu items, followed by vegetables and fruit. Pork and chicken were also significant ingredients. An analysis of menu categories reveals that pasta & pizza, salads & sides, soft drinks, pudding & desserts and sandwiches & wraps were most popular within the QSR format.

An analysis of the annual price change between 2023 and H1 2024 indicates that the average menu prices in Croatia QSR channel have risen by 0.15%. Considering all channels (including QSR) the average price change was 0.19%. As on-premises dining gains momentum following the COVID-19 pandemic, the QSR segment in Croatia is expected to experience overall growth.
