Italian coffee brand Lavazza has unveiled its revamped flagship store in central London, UK, Bdaily News has reported.

Located opposite the iconic Liberty’s department store on Great Marlborough Street, the new outlet was inspired by Lavazza’s first store in the Italian city of Milan.

Its menu has been inspired by Michelin-starred chef Federico Zanasi. The coffee menu offers coffee design recipes exclusive to the brand along with pastries and aperitivos.

Lavazza will also introduce a signature pastry by chef Marco Pedron which will be available from breakfast through to afternoon tea.

This is exclusively available at the London flagship store and Lavazza’s Milan stores.

Zanasi’s menu will include dishes such as homemade savoury maritozzo with burrata, crispy octopus and focaccia with stracciatella cheese, mortadella and pistachio pesto.

These dishes can be savoured with coffee-inspired twists on the classic aperitivo.

Lavazza Group global retailing director Gloria Bagdadli was quoted by Bdaily News: “The Lavazza flagship store in London is a place where customers can immerse themselves in coffee experiences.

“The newly designed space from the caffetteria to the pasticceria and gastronomia, offers exclusive ways to enjoy our 1895 speciality coffee by Lavazza, Italian Michelin-starred gastronomy and awarded creativity in Italian pastry.”

To elevate the experience for guests, the location’s coffelier – a sommelier of coffee – will prepare coffee-based creations and showcase extraction methods.

The store will also feature table service space, where guests can enjoy coffee amid art installations. The works of art were created by Lavazza and coordinated by artist Daniele Sigalot, the Retail Times reported.
