US quick-service restaurant company Zaxby’s has expanded its menu with the introduction of Southern Fried Shrimp at its outlets across the country for a limited period.
The new offering features crispy butterflied shrimp breaded with a mix of garlic and onion powder and seasoned with pepper and buttermilk.
Southern Fried Shrimp is accompanied by the brand’s new Zaxtail Sauce – a combination of the brand’s Zax Sauce and cocktail sauce with a hint of horseradish.
Known for its Chicken Fingerz, wings and signature sauces, Zaxby’s has decided to feature seafood on its menu for the first time.
Zaxby’s Southern Fried Shrimp is offered as a meal or as a standalone side paired with Zaxtail Sauce, which is a new addition to its 12 signature sauces.
Southern Fried Shrimp Meal features eight crispy butterflied shrimp and is served with Zaxtail Sauce, Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries and a small drink.
