Jamaican-owned fast food chain Juici Patties has expanded in the US market with a new restaurant in Hollywood, Florida.
The Hollywood Boulevard restaurant opened its doors on 21 March 2024.
The move comes after the Clarendon-based restaurant announced its plan to grow its presence in the US earlier in the year, inviting franchisees to apply for operations across the country.
Daniel Chin, Juici Patties US division CEO, director of operations and son of founder Jukie Chin, is at the helm of the franchise’s expansion efforts.
Daniel aims to bring Juici Patties’ unique offerings and introduce signature Jamaican flavours to the American market.
In a bid to foster growth and encourage collaboration, Juici Patties is reaching out to potential franchisees to be part of its journey.

By GlobalDataDaniel Chin has been quoted in US media highlighting Miami, Florida as the prime location for Juici Patties’ US debut, citing the “very large Jamaican diaspora in the city as well as the state”, the Jamaica Observer has reported.
With more than 60 locations in Jamaica and operations in Canada, the UK and across eight other Caribbean nations, Juici Patties is well-positioned for international growth.
In February 2024 the daily newspaper reported that those interested in becoming Juici Patties franchisees in the US have three package options, ranging from between $346,950 and $469,500 for a small format restaurant to between $619,450 and $792,550 for a larger establishment.
The standard format is priced between $537,450 and $692,350, including a $30,000 franchise fee but excluding any potential leasing costs.
