UAE-based multi-service app Careem has launched Careem Food and Careem Pay in Abu Dhabi as part of its expansion strategy.

Residents and visitors to the capital city can now use Careem Food to order meals from a wide range of restaurants, including popular choices such as Allo Beirut, PF Chang’s and Pizza Di Rocco.

Customers are offered up to 50% off on iftar and suhoor orders through the app.

To ensure accurate delivery estimates, Careem Food assigns delivery agents to orders based on their proximity to the restaurant and the customer’s location.

The company has reported a 95% on-time delivery rate for Careem Food orders in 2022 and 2023.

Careem Food operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, partnering with 15,000 restaurants and serving more than 1.4 million customers in the region.
