FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands, in partnership with Brame Brands, is set to open the first San Antonio location of Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express in the US state of Texas on 4 May 2024.
This opening follows FAT Brands’ April announcement of a development deal to establish 40 new franchised Fatburger locations throughout Northern California.

The new outlet at 1604 and Culebra will offer guests the chain’s signature all-American menu including the classic made-to-order Fatburgers, a variety of chicken wings, Fat Fries and milkshakes made from 100% real ice cream.
FAT Brands’ fast-casual division president and chief operating officer Jake Berchtold said: “We are thrilled to open our first location with Brame Brands.
“We plan to aggressively expand in the state in partnership with the group, opening a total of 100 units, 40 Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express, 40 locations of Round Table Pizza and 20 Johnny Rockets. Texas continues to be a key growth market for FAT Brands as a whole, so adding a Fatburger bricks-and-mortar location to a key city such as San Antonio is a significant milestone for us.”
Since the opening of the first Fatburger outlet in Los Angeles over seven decades ago, the brand has been serving burgers that are tailored to each customer’s preference.

By GlobalDataThe Fatburger menu offers a range of toppings such as bacon, eggs, chilli and onion rings, Fat and Skinny Fries, sweet potato fries, handmade onion rings, turkeyburgers, crispy chicken sandwiches and the renowned hand-scooped milkshakes.
Complementing the Fatburger offerings, Buffalo’s Express features a selection of bone-in and boneless chicken wings with an assortment of sauces. All wings at Buffalo’s Express are served with celery, carrots and a choice of blue cheese, ranch or honey mustard dressing.
To celebrate the grand opening on 4 May 2024, Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express will offer the first one hundred guests a complimentary Fatburger.
Patrons will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle with a prize of one of ten Original Fatburger meals per month for a year.
