The Stonegate Group has announced that The Wellington Arms pub in Ilfracombe, UK, is set to reopen after an investment of £125,000 from Craft Union.
The community pub, which will reopen on 3 May 2024, has undergone a comprehensive makeover involving internal and external redecoration.
Its function room has been completely overhauled and now features four darts boards, a skittle alley and a large-screen TV.
The new additions will enhance the customer experience, providing more activities and viewing options for guests.
The Wellington Arms was originally two separate pubs that merged into one larger venue.
The structure dates back to the 17th century and was listed as a Grade II listed property in 1990.

By GlobalDataThe Wellington Arms operator Kirsty Oldland said: “Myself and The Wellington Arms team are so excited to welcome back our locals.
“We are always bowled over by the support our community has for local businesses and great causes, and we are looking forward to hosting many more events and fundraisers at the pub in the coming months.”
In February 2024, the Stonegate Group reopened the Gate pub in Caister-on-Sea, Norfolk, following a £200,000 refurbishment by the Craft Union Pub Company, a division of the group.
The investment was used to upgrade the interior and exterior of the 19th-century establishment.
The overhauled pub offers new entertainment options to its guests, including a dartboard and a pool table.
