French food services company Sodexo has secured a contract to provide catering services at Oasis Restore, the UK’s first purpose-built secure school.
The contract marks an extension of Sodexo’s long-standing partnership with Oasis, and will deliver not only nutritious meals but also culinary skills training to young people in custody.
The school, which will soon receive its first students, is designed to improve the life chances of young people aged between 12 and 18 who are in custody.
Sodexo’s role will extend beyond meal provision to include lessons in budget management and enabling students to prepare their own meals, fostering independence and practical skills.
Sodexo schools managing director Steve Hawkins said: “We are incredibly proud to extend our partnership with Oasis to serve the students at Oasis Restore.
“This is a unique opportunity to create a positive impact on the lives of young people in need of support.
