UK-based pub company the Stonegate Group has announced that Yates Weston-super-Mare will re-open on 14 June 2024 as the Regent following a significant £323,000 investment.

Stonegate noted that the investment has transformed the venue, which now has a vibrant exterior and a completely overhauled interior.

The renovation includes the addition of new booths, seating and designated areas tailored for a variety of entertainment options, ensuring a fresh experience for patrons.

The pub now boasts expanded TV screens, contemporary media screens, DJ booths and spaces for live band performances.

In addition to the physical upgrades, the Regent also has a brand-new menu.

General manager Sue said: “I’m incredibly excited to welcome back the community to our revamped space. We’ve worked hard to create an inviting and vibrant environment where everyone can enjoy great food, entertainment and a sense of community.

“I can’t wait for everyone to experience what we’ve done with the Regent.”

In June 2024 the Stonegate Group reopened Faradays pub in Nottingham after a £315,000 refurbishment.

The investment has transformed the interior, creating a new upstairs attic with a private bar and DJ area alongside upgraded seating and sports viewing facilities in the main bar area.

The main bar has undergone a complete redesign, streamlining service for the pub’s signature cocktails and craft beers.
