UK’s Stonegate Group has announced that the Argyle, a pub located in the heart of London, has reopened its doors following a £185k refurbishment.

The pub is situated within walking distance of Farringdon and Chancery Lane. It has a roof terrace and diverse food and drink offerings.

The investment has transformed The Argyle, introducing several “Jumbrellas” on its terrace, which now allows the outdoor space to be utilised throughout the year.

The pub’s three floors, including an underground bar named the Vault, have undergone extensive upgrades to enhance the dining experience.

The interior of The Argyle has been completely refreshed to align with the Pub & Dining brand.

The main bar area, along with the furniture in all sections, has been updated to offer greater flexibility for outdoor bookings.

The Vault has received additional seating, and the terrace now offers a large-screen TV as well as the new Jumbrellas.

The Argyle’s drinks selection has been expanded to include new beer lines such as Birra Moretti, Sal De Mare and Brixton Pale Ale.

The venue also plans to host weekly events, including Wine Wednesdays and Fizz Fridays.

The Argyle general manager Patrick Bee said: “The opportunity to make the operation an all year round business is the key focus of the project.

“We have three very different and individual trading areas to suit all the needs of our guests, new and existing. We have enhanced the team ready for the summer and beyond and can’t wait to welcome guests back to our fresh-look premises.”
