Atlanta-based Smalls Sliders, known for its cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, is looking to expedite its expansion in the US through the development of company-owned and operated locations, beginning with a new opening in the state of Georgia.
The company is also assessing potential development opportunities in South Carolina, central Florida and Tennessee.
With a portfolio that includes more than 250 locations open or in the pipeline across 18 states in the Southeast and Midwest, Smalls Sliders is looking to cement its footprint in both new and existing markets.
The brand has locations in Louisiana and Mississippi. Its expansion plan includes entering markets such as Utah, Colorado and Kentucky. By 2024, the company anticipates 40 locations, which it refers to as “cans”.
The concept of Smalls Sliders originated in 2019 with the opening of its first “Smorange” coloured can. The brand was conceived by restaurateur Brandon Landry and has since garnered the support of investors including 10 Point Capital and former NFL star Drew Brees.
Each Smalls Sliders location is designed with a drive-through, a walk-up window and a modular buildout.
