The Andrew Edmunds restaurant, located in London’s Soho, has announced a temporary closure for a refurbishment period, which will begin in mid-July 2024.

It is expected to reopen at the end of August following a month-and-a-half’s revamp work.

In a Facebook post, the Andrew Edmunds Restaurant said: “Andrew Edmunds Restaurant will be closing from Friday 12th July for a few weeks for some essential building works. The restaurant will reopen at the end of August.

“In the meantime, our private hire spaces are available for advance bookings. Plus, we have released more wine tastings and WSET wine courses, with our next wine tasting, Pink Wines, taking place on Friday 26th July.”

The establishment, situated in an 18th-century townhouse on Lexington Street, is set to undergo overdue structural works.

The restaurant, named after the late restaurateur and art dealer Andrew Edmunds, has been a fixture in Soho since its inception in 1985.
