British Airways has announced a partnership with London-based speciality coffee roaster Grind to introduce a new range of beverages on its short-haul European flights.
Passengers flying from Heathrow and Gatwick airports can enjoy Grind’s exclusive coffee blends as part of the onboard “High Life Café” offer.
Grind has crafted three coffee sachets – flat white, long black and decaf black – for British Airways’ flights.
The Flat White blend is described as creamy and chocolatey, with sweet notes of apricot and honey.
The Long Black Coffee offers a combination of chocolate, almond, and red apple flavours, while the Decaf Black Coffee delivers the same taste without caffeine.
In addition to hot beverages, Grind’s ready-to-drink (RTD) Iced Caramel Latte is available for purchase in-flight.

By GlobalDataThis cold brew option includes a double shot of Grind’s speciality-grade House Blend coffee, slow-steeped in cool water and sweetened with caramel.
Priced at £3.25 ($3.53), the new offerings have been developed by Grind’s Head Roaster Howard Gill, who undertook coffee tasting on a flight to develop a coffee range “that tastes great even at 35,000ft”, World Coffee Portal reports.
Grind, established in 2011, currently operates 14 outlets across London and has a presence in the retail packaged coffee and capsule business, serving both wholesale and direct-to-consumer markets.
British Airways is the second-largest UK-based carrier and currently flies to 115 airports across Europe.
Grind CEO David Abrahamovitch was quoted by World Coffee Portal as saying: “Taking Grind into the sky with British Airways is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase our coffee internationally.
“As a company born in London, to partner with such an iconic British brand is an amazing step in our journey, and we can’t wait to see it on board.”
