Serendipity3, a New York City restaurant known for its Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, is set to open its new Times Square location on 5 September 2024.
The date coincides with the 70th anniversary of the restaurant’s original debut in September 1954 on New York City’s Upper East Side.
The new restaurant was designed by New York-based interior architect Wid Chapman, with a design that offers a contemporary twist on the brand’s signature eclectic aesthetic.
Wid said: “When designing Serendipity3 Times Square, we wanted to amplify everything iconic about the original Upper East Side location and the restaurant’s brand through pattern, bold colours, lighting and more.
“Through its Warhol elements, Allison Eden’s outstanding vibrant glass mosaics throughout, and a new twist on all things form, pattern, colour and light, restaurant goers are in for a real treat as soon as they step inside.”
The Times Square location will feature classic Upper East Side menu items alongside new offerings such as a Sunday Chicken Dinner Sundae, two new sandwiches and three new ice cream flavours.
