Canadian casual dining chain Moxies has decided to close its Davie Street location in Vancouver on 7 October 2024.
The restaurant, situated within the Sandman Suites Vancouver, has been serving guests with artisanal dishes and unique cocktails for more than two decades.
Customers can still visit its other Moxies locations in Langley, Richmond and West Georgia Street.
Moxies, which is owned by Northland Properties, operates 59 locations across North America.
Moxies president and chief operating officer Joanne Forrester said: “While it’s always difficult to close the doors, we remain proud of our team’s role in creating memorable experiences within the community.
“This closure is not an end but a step toward our continued evolution, allowing us to focus on future growth and opportunities. We are deeply grateful for the loyalty and support of our guests and the dedication of our team. Together, we’ve built something exceptional and carry that spirit into our next chapter.

“We hope that everyone will have the chance to join us for one last time before we finish our final service on Monday, 7 October.”
In August 2024, Moxies reopened its renovated Regina location in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The redesigned space featured a new colour scheme, greenery walls and artwork, complemented by marble and natural wood accents.
Situated at 1800 Victoria Avenue, the 7,500ft² location accommodates 250 guests.
