South Korean fast-food chain bb.q Chicken is set to open its inaugural Canadian bb.q Chicken Village outlet in Waterloo, Ontario.

Set to launch on 1 October 2025, the store will introduce a new dining concept to the region.

The flagship store will offer an expanded menu that includes authentic Korean dishes, desserts, beverages and bagels, alongside the brand’s signature fried chicken.

To celebrate the opening, exclusive merchandise will be available and customers can participate in events featuring bb.q gift cards and prize giveaways.

The Chicken Village concept was launched in Seoul in 2022, combining the elements of a café, restaurant and pub.

The Waterloo location will continue this trend with a Broadway Theatre-inspired interior. It will accommodate 150 diners and feature a private room seating 12.
