
US-based Roy Rogers Restaurants’ franchisee Mohammed Haque has purchased the brand’s corporate location in Waldorf, Maryland.
The deal represents Haque’s seventh Roy Rogers restaurant, including three in Alexandria, Virginia, and four in the suburbs of Maryland.
Since 2017, Haque has been acquiring the brand’s existing locations and dedicating resources to enhance their aesthetics and operations.
Haque said: “The support from Roy Rogers has been instrumental to my success, and I’m excited to serve the Waldorf community that has been loyal to the brand for so many years.”
The restaurant brand recently launched a refranchising initiative to aid its franchise growth plan in Maryland and Virginia.
Roy Rogers operates 23 company-owned restaurants and 17 franchise sites across six US states.

In April 2024, Roy Rogers Restaurants entered a lease deal to establish a new location in Leesburg, Virginia towards the end of 2025.
The new outlet will be the brand’s third location in Loudoun County. It will occupy a 2,800ft² area and include a contemporary drive-through prototype.
Peterson Companies, the developer of The Shops at Russell Branch, teamed up with Roy Rogers to gain municipal planning consent.
