Premium US pizza franchise Donatos Pizza has entered a new partnership in Panama City, Florida – a significant step in its expansion plans within the state.
The company has identified further potential locations across the north and central Florida regions: Destin-Ft Walton Beach, Gainesville, the Lake City area, Pensacola and Tallahassee.

The latest development is part of the brand’s strategic growth initiative to open more than ten locations in these key markets.
Donatos has already established a presence in Florida, with six franchised locations currently operating in Sarasota, Jacksonville, Naples and Orlando.
The announcement underscores the strength of its franchise model and its plans to introduce new communities to its signature ‘edge to edge’ pizzas.

Donatos Pizza is a family-owned business founded in 1963 by Jim Grote in Columbus, Ohio and still headquartered there. Donatos and its franchisees now operate more than 175 stores.
Its products are served in 300 non-traditional locations nationwide, including select Red Robin restaurants.

In March 2024, Donatos announced its plans to expand its presence in Texas by opening 20 new locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
