American restaurant chain Taco Bell has announced a collaboration with Mexican American musician Omar Apollo, introducing his family’s Disha Hot Sauce to its menu across the US from 26 September 2024.

The partnership brings a unique blend of traditional and contemporary flavours to Taco Bell’s offerings. The sauce becomes available to Taco Bell Rewards Members from 24 September 2024.

Taco Bell is also offering a limited-edition Disha Hot Discovery Box.

Priced at $8.99, the box contains three packets of Disha Hot Sauce and a selection of Taco Bell favourites such as a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Doritos Locos Taco, Crunchy Taco, chips with nacho cheese sauce and a medium fountain drink.

Taco Bell chief marketing officer Taylor Montgomery said: “Our sauce packets are more than just condiments – they’re a beloved part of the Taco Bell experience.

“When Omar shared the story of his family’s Disha Hot sauce and its unique, personal flavours, we knew this was the kind of meaningful partnership our fans would love.”

In July 2024, Taco Bell launched Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries for a limited time.
