Stonegate Group has unveiled its Social Pub & Kitchen brand, after refurbishing and rebranding pubs across England and Scotland.

Over £5m has been allocated for this revamp work in fiscal year (FY) 2024, with additional funds earmarked for FY 2025.

This not only revitalised the pub experience but also supported local communities by creating and sustaining more than 300 jobs throughout the UK.

The Social Pub & Kitchen brand, part of the Managed Stonegate portfolio since 2022, is now being showcased with revamped pubs and new branding.

It incorporates the ‘Pub 2.0’ concept., which aims to modernise the traditional British pub by offering high-quality drinks, sociable food, and a relaxed atmosphere tailored to each location.

The brand’s new identity reflects a contemporary design, with unique local elements such as artist collaborations and updated beer gardens.

Recently refurbished sites include the Gosta Green and Bristol Pear in Birmingham, The Anchor in Bristol, The City Arms in Oxford, and Off The Wall in Chester.

Each Social Pub & Kitchen venue features its own character, with bespoke design elements that pay tribute to local culture and preferences, including sports team homages and partnerships with local artists.

Sports screenings are a focal point for the brand, with live broadcasts of major events across football, boxing, Formula One, rugby, and women’s sports.

Social Pub & Kitchen’s commitment to inclusivity is further demonstrated by new partnerships with HerGameToo and England Netball.

Collaborations have also been formed with Camden Brewery for uniforms and Doritos and Heineken for a Champions League meal deal.

In addition, the brand offers a popular bottomless brunch, featuring a two-hour experience with a diverse menu and drinks such as the Pornstar Martini.

These pubs are also integrated into Stonegate’s MiXR app ecosystem, which provides users with exclusive deals, a pub locator, and a rewards system. New users receive a free drink upon app registration, along with seasonal missions and perks from partner brands.
