Wingstop has been named the Official Chicken Partner of both the US National Basketball Association (NBA) and the NBA G League.  

The multiyear partnership will see Wingstop capitalising on media exposure through various channels. The brand is set to feature in virtual and courtside signage during nationally televised NBA games.  

The brand will also have a presence at NBA All-Star events, beginning with the NBA All-Star 2025 in the San Francisco Bay area.  

It will also be the presenting partner of the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Green Carpet, an event that precedes the annual exhibition game, showcasing the arrival of celebrities, scheduled for 14 February 2024 at Oakland Arena. 

The partnership builds upon existing Wingstop and NBA connections, which include team collaborations with the Detroit Pistons, the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles Lakers, the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks.  

Wingstop, which operates and franchises 2,350 locations globally, has reported a 27.1% growth in system-wide sales to $3.5bn in the fiscal year 2023, marking its 20th consecutive year of same-store sales growth.

For the second quarter of 2024, it reported a net income of $27.48m, a substantial increase of 70% from $16.18m in the previous year.
