Restauranteur Mookie Lee has opened the modern sushi restaurant Senso in downtown Frankfort, Kentucky, US.
Occupying a prime location at the southeast corner of the new mixed-use site at 3 N White St, Senso offers a minimalist modern design blending natural wood elements with cherry trees.
The interior features a maneki-neko lucky cat installation in its 108-seat dining room.
The official grand opening of Senso is scheduled for Tuesday 5 November 2024, in collaboration with the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.
The restaurant’s menu is designed for sharing, catering to both sushi aficionados and those new to Japanese cuisine, with gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan options.
Owner Mookie Lee brings a touch of his Korean heritage to the menu, along with global culinary influences.
