US-based bakery-café restaurant chain Panera Bread has announced two new Ciabatta Dippers, a limited-time offering that pairs melty sandwiches with a portioned soup for dipping.
This new menu addition aims to enhance the dining experience by combining two of Panera’s staples—sandwiches and soups in a dippable format.
The Ciabatta Dippers are now available in two varieties at participating bakery-cafés across the country.
French Dipper includes marinated steak, melted provolone and asiago cheeses, and a garlic aioli drizzle on a ciabatta, served with a side of Bistro French Onion Soup.
Spicy Chicken Dipper features grilled chicken, a creamy salsa verde spread and melted provolone on ciabatta, accompanied by Creamy Tomato Soup for dipping.
Panera Bread chief marketing officer Mark Shambura said: “At Panera, our guests have shown us just how much they enjoy pairing menu items, especially dipping their sandwiches into our signature soups.

By activating a promotion in the Panera iOS app and ordering a Ciabatta Dipper or another qualifying sandwich, they will receive double visit credits towards their next loyalty reward.
Earlier this year, Panera concentrated on refining its core offerings by introducing new items and enhancing existing ones.
The New Era menu from Panera now features an array of improved bakery products, breakfast options, soups, sandwiches, and salads.
Last month, Panera Bread launched MyPanera Week to offer deals and savings exclusive to its loyalty members where they can enjoy free meal rewards, delivery discounts and special rates on subscription services.
