US-based Mexican quick service restaurant Del Taco has expanded its menu with the introduction of the new Chipotle Carne Asada Steak Burrito, an addition to their existing lineup of carne asada steak items in the US.  

The new Chipotle Carne Asada Steak Burrito comprises freshly grilled carne asada steak with slow-cooked beans, cilantro [coriander] lime rice, chipotle sauce and sour cream, served in a warm flour tortilla.

The full list of carne asada steak items at Del Taco features several “Epic” burritos: the Epic Carne Asada Steak Cali Bacon Burrito, the Epic Carne Asada Steak Fresh Guacamole Burrito, and the Epic Carne Asada Steak Loaded Queso Burrito.  

Del Taco’s carne asada steak options also feature Carne Asada Steak Street Tacos with diced onions, chopped cilantro and green sauce in a warm corn tortilla.  

Carne Asada Steak Fries are topped with cheese, secret sauce, guacamole and fresh tomatoes.

Del Taco is also launching its own “dirty soda” [a soft drink spiked with cream or flavoured syrup] – the “Dirty Del”: a Dr Pepper with vanilla and lime.  

Also returning is the Birthday Cake Shake, a vanilla shake blended with birthday cake flavour and rainbow sprinkles. Both beverages are available for a limited time. 

In September 2024, Del Taco opened a location in Kissimmee, Florida.  

The new venue, located at 7531 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, is the brand’s second company-owned restaurant in Kissimmee and its seventh in the Orlando area.
