SUSHISAMBA, a global restaurant group known for its blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, plans to open a new location in West Hollywood’s Design District, US.
To debut in the summer of 2025, the new restaurant will be located at The La Peer Building, 639 N La Peer Dr, West Hollywood CA 90069.
The venue will feature the restaurant’s signature dishes and world-class hospitality in a striking rooftop space with panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline.
The new 17,500ft² outpost, designed by Dizon Collective, will reflect SUSHISAMBA’s cultural influences through its curated design elements.
The space draws inspiration from the iconic wave patterns of Roberto Burle Marx’s Copacabana sidewalks, creating both intimate and social dining experiences.
The use of warm lighting and vibrant greenery will further enhance the inviting atmosphere.

By GlobalDataSUSHISAMBA Group co-CEO Omar Gutierrez said: “We’ve long awaited the right opportunity to bring SUSHISAMBA back to the US, and the vibrant energy of Los Angeles — combined with this extraordinary location — offers an ideal setting for our next evolution.
“LA’s dynamic culinary landscape, cultural diversity and electric atmosphere align perfectly with SUSHISAMBA’s spirit, making this a truly exciting moment for our brand.”
Central to the restaurant’s appeal are its sculptural trellises, crafted from recyclable materials.
There will also be a marble bar with a flowing design serving as a focal point for guests to enjoy cocktails.
The interconnected spaces within the restaurant are anchored by custom Brazilian-inspired terrazzo flooring.
The interior features a glass-wrapped sushi bar and robata grill where diners can observe chefs at work.
An exclusive 16-seat private dining room offers a luxurious setting for special events, complete with hand-blown glass sculptures and basket-woven walls.
Under the guidance of corporate chef John Um, who brings more than two decades of culinary expertise, SUSHISAMBA Los Angeles will introduce an array of new and classic dishes.
