Tesco has launched a new initiative allowing customers to enjoy fresh Pizza Express offerings without entering the restaurant.
The grab-and-go Pizza Express pod is located at Tesco Express in Southampton, as reported in The Sun.
The collaboration between Tesco and Pizza Express offers pizza slices, dough balls and an exclusive £9.95 meal deal which includes a pizza and a soft drink.
The pod, outside the main entrance of the Tesco store, is a trailer-style outlet with outdoor seating available.
Customers can opt for takeaway or delivery through partners Deliveroo, Just Eats, and Uber Eats.
Tesco loyalty members can redeem Clubcard points for payment, doubling their value by converting them to a Pizza Express voucher.

By GlobalDataPizza Express chief development officer Chris Holmes said: “Why not add a touch of excitement (and Dough Balls) to your usual grocery trip?
“We were the original casual dining player in supermarkets, launching over twenty years ago, and are top of the leader board for our chilled pizza, famous salad dressing and pizza dough proposition.”
This marks the first time Pizza Express and Tesco have partnered for a freshly-served, staff-operated concession.
In November 2023, they introduced an exclusive range of frozen pizzas, pasta, lasagna and garlic bread.
Pizza Express currently has more than 360 pizzerias across the UK and Ireland and has also expanded to 12 markets internationally.
Globally, customers are served via owned operations in Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates, and via franchise operations across Asia, Middle East and Europe.
The success of the new pod could signal more similar collaborations as part of their expansion strategy.
