US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Surcheros plans to open at least ten new units by the end of 2025

It intends to bolster its presence across Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida.

The brand experienced strong growth in 2024, with nine new locations and debuts in South Carolina and Tennessee.

During the year, Surcheros experienced a 29% increase in revenue year-on-year and almost doubled its franchise leads.

Surcheros founder and CEO Luke Christian stated: “Over the past year, we’ve expanded into South Carolina and Tennessee, strengthened our operations team and improved our build-out process to be faster and more efficient.

“These efforts have made us more appealing to new franchise partners while re-inforcing trust among our current franchisees.”

Surcheros business development and franchise relations vice-president Jake Philpotts stated: “Our growth has sparked significant interest from potential business partners with restaurant experience, and we don’t plan to slow down.

“Our proven model, efficient build-out and strong support offer a compelling investment opportunity for operators looking to join a successful venture.”

Christian believes that with a strong foundation, clear growth strategies and a team of franchisees with a shared mission, 2025 is set to become a breakthrough year.

In August 2024, Surcheros announced its plans to open four locations in Columbia, US by 2028. The new units will be managed by franchisee Andrew Powell, who has more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.

Surcheros currently operates 30 restaurants in the US and announced in early 2024 its ambitious plans to open 100 within five years.

Surcheros serves burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, salads and sides.
