US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Zaxbys is bringing back its Southern Fried Shrimp for a limited time.
Known for its chicken offerings, Zaxbys is offering customers seafood that incorporates the same breading used on its Chicken Fingerz.
Founded in 1990 and headquartered Atlanta, Georgia, Zaxbys operates 950 locations in 17 states.
The Southern Fried Shrimp meal, priced at $10.29, consists of eight butterflied shrimp with Zaxtail Sauce, Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries and a Small Drink.
The ZaxSeas Surf & Turf meal, combining shrimp with Chicken Fingerz, is available for $12.99.
Buffalo Shrimp, tossed in Buffalo Garlic Blaze, costs $6.19.
The Asian Zensation Zalad, now a permanent menu item, is enhanced with the addition of Southern fried shrimp for an average price of $11.59.
This dish topped with Citrus Vinaigrette and served with a vegetarian egg roll.
Zaxbys’ Southern fried shrimp is available until the end of April 2025 at participating locations, with prices varying by location.
Chief marketing and strategy officer Patrick Schwing stated: “This year, we’re taking flavour to the next level with even more ways to enjoy our Southern Fried Shrimp. We’ve applied the same signature breading and seasoning that have made our Fingerz famous for 35 years to our new shrimp offerings.”
In October 2024, Zaxbys updated its popular Family Packs group meals with new packaging.
