Burger chain Burger Singh has arrived in Bengaluru, with an outlet in HSR Layout, as part of its pan-India expansion strategy.
A second location at BTM Layout in the south Indian city is also in the pipeline.
Founded in 2014 in the north Indian city of Gurugram, Burger Singh has expanded to 175 outlets across 75 Indian cities.
These outlets are located in metro cities and Tier 2 and 3 markets.
It also operates internationally with three outlets and a food truck in London.
Burger Singh founder and CEO Kabir Jeet Singh stated: “We’ve built a brand that doesn’t just sell burgers but delivers an experience rooted in Indian flavours. Our products are designed to appeal to both loyal burger lovers and those who seek something new and exciting. Bringing this to Bangalore is a key step in our journey to becoming India’s most loved QSR [quick service restaurant] brand.”
Burger Singh’s menu features items tailored for the Indian palate, including Bunty Pappeh da Aloo, the Amritsari Murgh Makhani burger and the Bihari Gosht Mutton burger.
Burger Singh is utilising a franchise model for expansion, targeting entrepreneurs interested in entering the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector with low investment and high return on investment potential.
Burger Singh co-founder Rahul Seth added: “Bangalore’s fast-growing food and beverage sector, young demographic and love for innovative food make it a high-potential market for us. We’re not just opening outlets; we’re creating franchise opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and generating employment for local talent.”
Burger Singh plans to open 100 additional outlets in the country.
It aims to bolster its presence in metropolitan areas as well as extend its reach into burgeoning markets as it expands.
