US-based fast-casual sandwich chain Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is expanding with a new location in Los Altos, a city in Santa Clara County, California.

The shop is located at 142 Los Altos Parkway.

Capriotti’s is recognised for its handcrafted cheesesteaks, turkey subs and sandwiches, made with high-quality ingredients.

For almost 50 years, the brand has upheld a tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house.

Fan favourites include the Capastrami, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and coleslaw.

Capriotti’s also offers cheesesteaks, available with premium steak, chicken or Impossible plant-based meat. Each is topped with melted cheese and the option of hot or sweet peppers.

Capriotti’s chief marketing officer Kim Lewis stated: “We are thrilled to bring Capriotti’s to the Los Altos community and share our passion for high-quality, made-to-order sandwiches.

“We look forward to serving our guests and becoming a go-to destination for delicious, satisfying meals.”

The new Capriotti’s shop will also create jobs in Reno.

CEO Ashley Morris stated: “We are excited to expand Capriotti’s presence in the Reno area and bring our beloved flavours to the Los Altos community.

“Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains at the forefront, and we can’t wait for guests to experience what makes Capriotti’s so special.”

In early 2025, Capriotti’s opened its first New Jersey location in Princeton.

The shop, located at 301 N Harrison Street Unit 470 in the Princeton Shopping Center, is owned by franchisee Jimit Dharia and his wife, Urvi Jatania.
